I came into the carpet cleaning industry in 1982, working for companies such as Scrubbers of  Putney and Kingcome Sofas of Fulham. In 1989 i went out on my own and set up Straker Cleaning, I have now built up a large base of customers ranging from student through to family homes, even on to The Archbishop of Westminster's residence and Houses of Parliament. 

Trained by Prochem, Ashbys, Stimvak and The National Carpet Cleaners Association, also a member of FSB (Federation of Small Businesses). We cater for domestic and commercial cleaning including hotels, public houses, offices, letting agents and estate agents. We constantly seek out and use the most current up to date machinery, chemicals and methods available.

As a former member of The Royal Military Police (TA), I can offer a secure, discreet and reliable service, as i am currently MoD security vetted and cleared to Parliamentary level.

Being a family man myself, I appreciate the need for cleaning methods that contain or leave no harmful chemicals or residues. To this end, we are proud to use micro-splitting, enzyme and detergent free chemicals.

This has prompted our new branding with new business name and logo to reflect the approach we take. Plus.. because we offer MUCH more than just clean carpets. Our Plus.. symbol was devised along the lines of a drop of water that has been used with 'microsplitters' and become eco friendly green.
